I'm Engaged!!!!

Yes. That is right. I am engaged to Jace Taylor. I am so lucky and can't wait to spend forever with him. We are getting married July 17 at the Bountiful Temple. We are still working out all the details and having fun figuring it all out. But I know you want to hear the story of the proposal so here ya go. . .

We have been wanting to go feed ducks for a while now and finally had some free time today to go. We planned on going after I got some homework done and that ended up being around noon so I needed some food. Jace had just ate some cereal he said so he wasn't hungry and we haven't gone grocery shopping yet so we made a trip to Wendy's. We got me a hamburger and drived around for a little bit and ended up getting pulled over for mud flaps on Jace's Truck. It sucked. I had some idea that he was going to propose soon but not sure when so when we left the house I kinda looked to see if he had the ring with him. I didn't notice one at all cuz he didn't have on a jacket and it wouldn't fit in his pocket so I figured if he was going to do it then the ring was in his truck; probably in the jockey box. When we got pulled over I was like, oh no. this will ruin it. But the ring wasn't in the jockey box so I was sure he wasn't going to propose today. We got our fix-it ticket and went to the pond at Bloomington Golf Course.
There were some people there so we waited for some of them to leave. Finally some of them left so we got out of the truck and sat on some benches and fed ducks for a little bit, still oblivious to what was going to happen. These people and their 2 kids came over and were watching the ducks by us and Jace started saying that we should wait til they leave. Then these other kids came chasing the ducks and they all went away so we had to stop feeding the ducks. Which turned out to be a good thing. We just talked and watched the ducks til the people left, but they didn't leave. I had my camera in my purse and had grab it and took some pictures of the ducks and us while we waited. It was alot of fun. Jace had us go over to the other side of the pond away from the people. We walked over and I fed ducks while we walked trying to get more to come over. We got over to where there were some trees and I finished the slice of bread I had. Jace asked if I needed some more. I said Yea and turned around to get some because he was behind me and he was on one knee. He asked if i would marry him and I happily said yes. He gave me a hug and kiss and then put the ring one after giving me some more bread. Haha It was cute. He was so nervous and was shaking when he put the ring on. I yelled it to the golfers on the other side of the pond. None of them heard but I didn't care. I also told all the ducks too. It was fun. I just wanted to tell everyone.
So come after all the happy kisses and smiles he showed me where he hid the ring. He had taken out the center of 4 slices of bread and hid the ring in them. I had no idea it was there. It was so creative. I love it and I love him lots too. :)

Me and Jace before the proposal. He looks nervous. haha

Spring Break

So Spring Break finally got here. Thank heavens cuz i needed the break. Jace and I decided to visit all the fam for spring break. We left wednesday for Fillmore to visit his parents home for a couple days and then went to Plymouth to see my parents on Friday and come home Sunday. It was alot of drining but worth it. We both had a great time. The only problem was that Wednesday morning I woke up with a sore throat and my voice was really high pitched. I sounded like a little girl. It was awful. Jace just laughed cuz I sounded so rediculous. My voice came and went troughout the day and the whole week. It was quite embarrassing meeting his grandparents and not being able to talk very good. But we made it through. His famiily is great and I'm excited to be apart of it. He had fun with my family too. Tailee stayed with us every night we were there. Jace read her a bedtime story and played legos with her. He is amazing at legos. Tailee woke up saturday morning and asked me if she could paly legos with Jace. So we had to go wake him up by jumping on the bed. It was fun. We didn't take to many pictures but here are some goofy ones of Jace and I at my house.

oh boy, I don't know what I am doing.

Look at how cute he is. :)

Ok, for those of you who know who Jeff Dunham is and his puppet Walter don't you think this face matches Walters? It makes me laugh whenever he does it.

Feeding the ducks

So I had some expired bread and thought it would be fun to go feed the ducks at a golf course in town since the weather is so nice. I'm not sure if it is legal but it sure was fun. Jace and I pulled up and we saw all the ducks. There were a ton. We parked by the pond and every duck and swan in the pond came straight to the car. I was so excited. Just ask Jace how excited I was because excited doesn't begin to describe it. We got out and walked towards them and before we knew it we were surrounded. They could smell the bread I think. Haha. The ducks and geese and swans were all quacking at us and so close we could touch them. I didn't dare too but I tried to feed a duck a big chunk of bread from my hand and it took it from me. I of course screamed and dropped the bread cuz I was scared it was gonna eat my fingers but it was fun. The bread didn't last long though.

We got in my car to leave and the ducks surrounded my car. We rolled down the windows and yes we talked to them. Haha. They were right up against my car doors. I told them i was sorry we didn't bring more bread and that the pineapple from my pizza probably wasn't the best for them or I would feed them that. Jace and I went to The Pizza Factory right before and had the leftovers with us. Jace grabbed the box and I had put the crackers in there from the salad bar so we fed them those from my car too. My sunroof was handy for that. Except when I hit the sunroof window. The cracker broke in my hand and went all over my car and Jace. Only I could do that. Jace fed a big white duck the crust off the pizza from his hand and a little black bird thing stole it out of the ducks mouth then waddled off as fast as it could. It was so funny. We couldn't figure out what kind of bird it was though. They were all black, had white beaks and chicken feet. Not webbed feet like ducks. They were weird. I was scared they were going to peck my toes since i was wearing flip-flops. But they didn't luckily. We had alot of fun and I can't wait to go back and feed them again.

These swanny looking things were ugly. They had big knobs on there noses and chin flaps.

Not sure waht this things is. A swan maybe or a large duck. Hmmm

I know were swans. They just slept through everything.
