BBQ

I finally faced my fear of the BBQ and grilled up some yummy hamburgers for dinner the other day. It was such a nice day outside so we cleaned up the patio and closet and our neighbors were grilling burgers that smelled great so I just had to run to the store to show them how it's done. :) Grilling was not as scary as I thought it would be, but the flames coming up and covering the burgers made me a little nervous. I survived though and we had a great dinner. I can't wait to grill some more.

Cheese! Look - even shorts already. :)

The scary flames comin for me.

Easter Egg Plant

So Jace and I went to Lowes a week or so ago to get a outside broom to clean off the patio and the outside storage closet. When we were checking out I saw these colored eggs and look at them. They were called "Egg Plants". Turns out they were a ceramic egg filled with soil and seeds to grow flowers in them. They were so cute. The next day we went back and bought me one and one to send to Tailee and Chacen for Easter. I decided to see how this "egg plant" thing worked so I opened the packaging to see what to do and the dumb instruction inside the plastic wrap said to crack the egg with the plastic wrap on. How the heck would I know that if the instructions are in the plastic! Honestly. Needless to say I lost some of the soil in cracking my egg since the plastic wrap wasn't on it but it worked out ok. Hopefully it grows and my knack for killing plants will not over come and my green thumb will emerge. :)
