Honeymoon in California and the Big Scary Ocean.

Our honeymoon was the best! We had so much fun and saw a lot of weird crazy things. California is also very weird. They don't have a welcome sign at all and the road signs are in kilometers so we didn't feel welcome and had no idea how much farther we had to go. It was quite a trip. We drove forever and when we got there we decided to go to the ocean after checking into our hotel. It was so pretty, but creepy cuz we were almost the only white people there. Yeah for minority. Haha. It was the first time I had seen the ocean so I was very excited and loved it- til the next day when I had to get in then it scared me. I will tell you all about that in a second. After seein the ocean we went to target for some food and to Little Cesaers for pizza. We found them with the help of the little garmin gps. That thing is amazing! We decided we had to get one after driving to cali cuz we would have been lost.

The next day we went to the Ocean and played around there. I was so excited to go back to the beach! It was all sunny at our hotel and warm then we went to the ocean and it was overcast and windy. What a difference. We put down our towels and our bag and went to play in the ocean. It was freezing! Jace kept pulling me in deeper and deeper and the dang big waves kept pushing me around cuz I don't weigh enough. I just held on tight to Jace and screamed like a little girl. Then I got brave for some dumb reason and let go of Jace for a little bit and a couple big waves went over my head and i swear the world was ending. After that i left the great big ocean to sit on my towel in the overcast windy weather. I shivered for a while and asked Jace to please take me to the hot tub at the hotel. We took some pictures then left. It was nice to be in the calm water of the hot tub but the ocean was fun too.

On Wednesday we decided to go see the Queen Mary and go on a Sea Life Cruise. We drove the Pacific Coast Highway to Long Beach and had tons of fun there. We have no idea what the Queen Mary did and why you can tour her but you can. The Russian sub did something too but we don't know what either. When we get bored one day we may research it. Our sea life cruise was awesome. We had so much fun. We saw a lot of dolphins, a few sea lions and some seals. We were on the ocean for about 3 and half hours and went about 15 miles out in the open ocean. It was quite windy but not too bad. The dolphins would swim right by the boat. They were so pretty. I took a lot of pictures of them but digital cameras are so slow that I got only a couple good pictures. The rest are splashes in the ocean. The sea lions were funny though. I guess they get in big groups and put one fin in the air to stay warm. Their fins get warm from the sun to warm them so they just floated around in the bay like that. We would recommend it to anyone if they have the chance to go.

Our honeymoon was great and we had so much fun. We were so happy we had the chance to go. We love vacations now and Garmin GPS's. Can't wait til we get ours.

So, since there is no welcometo California sign- dumb California-I thought I would take a picture of the first things that said California. I kinda missed. But I got the CA for California. At least Baker-the town that the watertower says- welcomed us. But I'm not so sure about the whole gateway to Death Valley thing.

Wedding Day!

Our wedding day was the best! It had been rainy all week but the skies were clear for our big day. It was great. I woke up around 5 am to get ready and Jace I were sealed around 11:30 in the Bountiful Temple. It was so amazing. I loved it. Its the best feeling to know that we will be together forever. I love him so much. He is my bestest friend ever and now he never has to go home again cuz now it's legal for him to live with me. Hehe. :)

Tailee woke up just before i left to say goodbye to me. She was so cute. She didn't talk to anyone else or look at anyone else til she got to me. She is the best. I love her lots.

YEAH!!!!!! We are finally married. :) He is a good kisser too. :)

After all the pictures and smiling we went to Wendy's! Mmmm. We were both dead from 3 hours of pictures. We got lots of funny looks too driving around like this.

Our First Picture We Hung.

So Jace and I hung up some decorations in our house before he left for Fillmore, and this was the first one we hung up. It is so fitting I think since our family will be forever after we get married. This pictures actually helped pick our colors for the living room too so it was a good Bridal Shower gift. I loved it. Thanks again Amy.

Our Eventful Day

SO today was quiet eventful. Jace and I did alot of stuff for the new apartment and ran errands and got a marriage license and so much more done today. It was nice. We even won $5 out of Jaces cereal box. It was awesome. I never win, but Jace did this time. :) After all our errands we decided to go to Cafe Rio for dinner. Monday is the Enchilada Special so we like to go there on Monday's so it's cheaper. After we ate, we were at the stop light waiting for it to change green and we see 2 cop cars coming towards us with their lights one. They turned down the street we were and then we saw that there were 3 cops already down the road surounding this silver dodge with their guns pulled. Then the other cops that we saw just getting there stomped on their breaks and pulled their guns too. Jace and I turned down the road cuz we were curious and just wanted to go behind them but we had to stop and this other officer told us to turn around and go the other way. It was crazy! I recorded part of it cuz I had my camera but this is the only picture I got of it all.

Later that night Jace and I were sitting on the bed looking up how to clean up those dumb flouresence bulbs that have mercury in them and we heard the loudest crack of lighting I have ever heard. The room lite up at the same time. I thought we had got shot or a bomb went of or something cuz it was so loud. Needless to say I blamed it on the lightbulb and the dumb enviromentalists for making "green" light bulbs. They may save the environment, but the bulb could kill me. Not thanks. Anyway, Jace and I had quite the day and will probably remember that thunder forever.

So Jace came on Friday to see me for the weekend and go to Kanab to go 4-wheeling with my dad while I was at my Bridal Shower. I wanted something sweet and Ice cream and cookies sounded way good so we made cookies! They were so good. They are the first cookies we have made in our new apartment so it was alot of fun. We don't currently own any cookie sheets so we used the pizza pan and it worked just as good. We couldnt cook as many as with a cookie sheet but it was still fun and tasted great. Warm cookies and ice cream may be my new favorite.

Baby Kitties

We found baby kitties in our garage today. It was fun. They were hidden on the shelf in our garage, so I climbed up there and grabbed them. There were five of them so we had a kitty for each kid that was at the house. We will start with the youngest. . .

Chacen is still learning how to be gentle as you can see.

Memorial Weekend

So Jace and I went to Plymouth for memorial weekend and we stopped in Brigham City to pick up Rustin, Carlee, and Keaton on our way up for a sleep over. We had so much fun with them. They were able to stay 2 nights with us so we had tonz of time to play. We built a fort to sleep in the first night and Jace read them a bedtime story. Then the power went out and it was time for bed since we couldn't really see. i was upstairs when the lights went out and had the spare keys to Jaces mom's car that we drove up which had a little light on them, so I hurried downstairs to see if everyone was ok. Chacen was crying but Tailynne got to him quick so he was good. Thank heavens for that little light on the key chain. It was great.
